MUJERES ACTIVAS EN LETRAS Y CAMBIO SOCIAL.
I developed a new visual identity for Mujeres Activas en Letras y Cambio Social (MALCS), an organization rooted in community, scholarship, and Chicana/Latina feminist thought. The rebrand focused on honoring MALCS’s history while creating a visual system that could continue to grow with the organization.
Working closely with the MALCS Executive Committee, I redesigned the logo and developed a visual identity centered around meaningful imagery, including the open book and hummingbird, to reflect knowledge, movement, connection, and collective growth. The final identity included a primary logo, supporting marks, color palette, typography, graphic elements, brand guidelines, and Canva templates for ongoing use.
